“It was clear from the beginning you and your team were not about yourselves, YOU WERE ABOUT THE EVENT. All of you were ‘ON’ the entire time. I’m still hearing from people what an awesome time it was.” – Jim Cohn – Publisher/Editor Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine. This is a Throwback from two weeks ago. All of our characters turned Jenna Michelle’s party into a dream event, especially the performance of “ROAR” by are own Katy Perry! Jenna Michelle and her friends said the party was “Awesome enough to be on MTV!” So how did we make this Red Carpet Event a dream for Jenna Michelle?
As guests arrived to the most unique venue around – the FUGE, they were swarmed by our “Paparazzi” greeting them with flashing cameras. Guests were even called out on the red carpet as if they were real celebrities. From the beginning we set the tone for a night filled with excitement and fun! Once they hit the upper level they were welcomed into the “Mini-Madison Square Garden”. In addition to our replica Madison Square Garden sign, we projected an image of the Madison onto the center building which read, “SOLD OUT! by Jenna Michelle!” As they entered the Madison, guests enjoyed delicious hors d’ oeuvres and mingled with their friends,while listening to upbeat, happy music played by DeeJay Shelly. Next, it was time to welcome our guest of honor, Jenna Michelle. From her playlist selections we chose to announce her into the room with “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys. If we didn’t get them excited about the night ahead so far, they definitely were on cloud nine once they saw our paparazzi turned celebrity characters – Lady Gaga, John Mayer, & Katy Perry! As DeeJay Shelly introduced Lady Gaga she jumped out of an astronaut capsule. All the girls went crazy over John Mayer who was up on stage playing his guitar. Yet no one was prepared for Katy Perry descending from the top of the middle building dancing down the stairs lip syncing to “ROAR”. Even though she was lip syncing, you can see from these pictures she nailed every note! Setting the tone for DeeJay Shelly’s high energy, jumping, heart pounding, dance party for the rest of the night. As one last special gift to Jenna Michelle, we worked with Jim – the amazing AV guy at the FUGE – to download a copy of Jenna Michelle’s own song from YouTube, “Me Without You” so we could play it for her and her guests.
What was the hardest part about planning this event? Getting the celebrity characters into the main room without any of the guests seeing them!!!! Luckily Elvis was there to help us out! We’re so happy Jenna Michelle’s event was a success! We accomplished our mission; making every event special & unique so guests will continue to talk about it for months, or even years.
