Thanks to Paul at Pat’s Music Center in Philadelphia, PA for fixing my mic! At my last event I somehow managed to screw on the bottom of my mic so tight I could’t remove it.  This is bad since this is where the batteries are held. My fear was the threads were stripped – meaning we’d have to force it off – meaning replacement. If you’ve purchased good microphones you may know they don’t come cheap. Quality mics can range anywhere from $400 – $1000+.  One of the benefits of purchasing your DJ equipment from a local music store is receiving great customer service you may not normally get if you purchase your equip online.  Thanks to Paul I didn’t have to replace my mic!  I’ve been purchasing my equipment from Pat’s ever since I started out as a beginner DJ. Even if an item is cheaper online, I still go to Pat’s.  Why? They answer any questions I have – and trust me I have a lot! They show me how to hook up the equipment I purchase, and which connectors I need. Plus, they can fix pretty much any type of equipment right in the store!
