Crocodile Rye
For Chinese New Year I needed a dragon mask. Instead, I found this cool crocodile mask. Ok, it’s not a dragon, but close enough! I’ll take it! Needless to say, the kids at the Chinese New Year event this past Sunday loved it. One of the kids put it on and we all did the dragon dance. I’ll have to say, the dragon dance was amazing, but what I was even more excited to do was to bring home the mask to Rye Guy & Lil’ Mike.
Even better than playing Alien, the boys LOVE searching for images of bugs and crocodiles on Aunt DeeJay Shelly’s iPhone.Yes, they do really call me “Aunt DeeJay Shelly” – I love it. What’s even better? When they see my female DJ profile pic they point to it and say, “That’s DeeJay Shelly.” SUPER COOL!
In any case, the boys had a field day with the mask. They ran around chasing me and Marcella saying, “Rah!! Rah!!” SUPER CUTE!
