Last night, Jim Cohn, of Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine, and I covered the “Donors Are Heroes THE Party” at the Four Seasons Hotel. Let me tell ya… it was THE PARTY! However, I wasn’t on the ones and twos last night. I was behind the video camera! Or in this case, my iPhone.
Originally, I was going to just write about the event. At the last minute, I told Jim I could probably grab some shots to make a video highlight to share. So please keep in mind, since this was last minute, this is certainly not a Bertos Production (our normal video team). This entire video was shot with my iPhone, Tri-Pod, and of course -everyone’s favorite microphone! Overall, I think it turned out pretty well. Hope you enjoy! We sure did!
It’s not too often I get to cut a rug (since I’m usually playing the music). So I was very happy to head right to the dance floor, after we finished covering the event. Four hundred plus guests must have attended. It was PACKED! The food was amazing. Jim and I kept circling the food stations going back for seconds. The team at the Four Seasons are absolutely fabulous! The DJ played great music. Needless to say, we had a blast. I already can’t wait for the next one.
The founders of the organization, Renee and Don Freeman, are SUPER nice! Although we had to cut our interview short, we did get to catch up with them later in the evening. What a great couple and organization!

Thanks everyone! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend! I’m certainly giving my feet a rest after all my SUPER COOL dance moves from last night.
