Guess where we’re headed this month? No, it’s not France again. Although I would love to go back there! Not Greece, but I would head back there too! We’re hoping DC wants to Get Shell Shocked cause that’s our destination! Life can be so funny sometimes. Years ago I used to live in MD/DC area and travel to Philadelphia to DJ. Now, I’m back him in Philadelphia and traveling to MD/DC to DJ! No problem for me though. I love to travel!
Thanks to Rachael Conlan for this great photo! I had a blast hosting, “A Midnight in Paris” with Nathan Walk earlier this year. How can I not adore him? His suspenders match my Red headphones! Look out DC the Sounds By Shelly team is headed your way!

TOP 40/POP NEWS: Pink Floyd Prepare for Final Full Length Album Release on November 10th with Their New EP, Endless River!
Pink Floyd have said that their new album is an “emotional” and “evocative” record.
On November 10 of this year Pink Floyd will release what will most likely be their final album. It will be their first since 1994’s ‘The Division Bell”, and will include music recorded with Floyd multi-instrumentalist Richard Wright. Wright passed away in 2008 at 65 years old.
Floyd singer and guitarist, David Gilmour spoke in the new issue of Uncut, which is out now, and in it he says the album came from unreleased music Pink Floyd recorded for ‘The Division Bell’. “When we finished ‘The Division Bell’ sessions, we had many pieces of music, only nine of which had become songs on the LP,” he says. “Now with Rick gone and with him the chance of ever doing it again, it feels right these revisited tracks should be made available as part of our repertoire.”
“It is a tribute to him,” Gilmour adds. “I mean, to me, it’s very evocative and emotional in a lot of moments. And listening to all the stuff made me regret his passing all over again. This is the last chance someone will get to hear him playing along with us on that way he did.”
One member who will not be a part of the new album is original Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters. Waters left the band in 1985. Apparently, just last year Floyd drummer Nick Mason said he was interested in a full band reunion, but he was not certain it would ever happen.
