While I’m the one who usually likes to “SHELL Shock” with my DJ skills and unique entertainment, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by this over the top event! Named number six by the Washington Post’s “10 Best Food Cities in America, Ranked“, it’s no wonder Philadelphia’s Audi Feastival is one of the most delicious and highly attended parties all year! Thank you to Jim Cohn and Casey Rock of Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine for inviting me to help cover this fantastic party; bringing together a truly unique collaboration of performance arts and delicious world class cuisine.
As the owner of Michelle Lee Entertainment, I am dedicated to bringing my clients the most modern, exciting, and different entertainment experiences. To keep up on the hottest trends, I attend, host, and cover hundreds of high end special events throughout the year. Since I am an advocate for the arts, and an entertainer myself, I could not wait to check out this artistic and culinary scene!
What is the purpose of the event? The Audi Feastival is to benefit Fringe Arts. A number of Philadelphia’s top restaurants come together to share their rare cuisine and mouth watering experiences to raise money for arts in Philadelphia. While Philly may be well known for cheese steaks, Feastival reminds us, “Philadelphia’s cultural economy is world-class and nothing represents our dynamic and innovative arts scene better than FringeArts.” – Phillyfeastival.com.
The entertainment was also top – pun intended! Circadium’s contemporary circus aerialists were dangling from the ceiling tops performing dances and eye capturing movements in their “cubes”. While I’m not quite sure who featured them, everyone also loved the silver painted human dancers who performed from their platform stages placed throughout the party.
“Just Add Vodka!” Fine I’ll do it! It wouldn’t be a party without an open bar! While numerous restaurants also featured some of their best adult beverages, we loved the SKYY Vodka team! Not only were their drinks delicious, if you posted a photo of your drink to social media you received a free T!
What was the best part of the night? Jesse and I competing for the drivers seat to get our photo taken in one of the 2016 Audi’s. I have to agree – the Audi Feastival truly is “a party from a different world” – PhillyFeastival.com.
I hope you enjoyed my recap blog about #PhillyFEASTIVAL 2016 presented by Audi. As always, thanks for reading! – Michelle Lee (aka DeeJay Shelly).
Photos posted in the blog were taken on my Iphone. While the event was filled with really cool magenta uplighting, it didn’t make for great pictures on my phone. Yet, to view professional photos captured from this spectacular event, you can visit the website: PhillyFeastival.com .
