Thank you to Fuller photography for sending me this awesome photo of Jacqueline and Liam (her nephew) on the dance floor! As their DJ, Jacki & Liam asked me months before the wedding if I could make them a dance mix. They wanted to choreograph a special dance to surprise their guests. I said, “Of course!” Well, I must say, their dance moves were The BOMB! They really had the crowd cheering. It was so awesome to be a part of this family’s big day! Congratulations to Jacqueline & Brandon!

The Fillmore Hard Hat Tour!

I am so excited I’ve been asked to play at the opening of the famous Fillmore’s new event space in Philadelphia! They’re opening Thursday October 6th! I get to be one of the three acts performing that night. I can’t wait to see My Heaven & Hell themed DJ lounge!! It is going to be in the AJax Room (not sure of spelling) by the front bar. Sparks Entertainment is making me an awesome DJ facade. One of the AFR designers is putting together a few furniture pieces for my lounge. I CAN’T WAIT!! Of course, I will be wearing my wings!!!

While it doesn’t look like much now, I can assure you it is going to be amazing! – I hope the Fillmore is ready to get SHELL Shocked!

I met David Tutera!! What an amazing bridal show! David Tutera is one of the biggest celebrity planners in the events industry. It was so exciting to be a part of this truly unique bridal show!

Thank you to Atomic Design and the JDK Group for having me as their female DJ for the show! Atomic Design provided the awesome backdrop for the lounge, while the JDK group designed the gorgeous wedding table decor. Special thanks to my agent, Kaitlin Sweeney with EastCoast Entertainment, for representing us at the show. We couldn’t have talked to over hundreds of couples without her! Of course, I don’t attend any big event without my VP! I can’t thank Nathan Barta enough! He not only helped with our setup, but he also captured photos and video with his iPhone, and spoke with numerous couples looking for wedding entertainment! A highlight of our time at the event is below. Don’t worry if you missed this show, we just heard David is coming back to Philly this February! We can’t wait!

Today’s SHELLZAM! “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith cover by Run DMC.

What songs remind you of your pet? As a DJ and music lover, I relate everything to music. So after this learning experience with my little chewtown, I couldn’t stop singing “Walk This Way”.

Why? Today’s walk was a turning point for Chewy and I. It’s kind of surprising what you can learn from walking your dog! The reason this walk was so important is because I made changes! The last few times I tried to take Chewy for a walk he was not interested at all. What did I do? I Googled, “What’s wrong with my dog he doesn’t want to walk.” Of course, I didn’t enter in the search field, “What am I doing wrong – my dog doesn’t want to walk.”

My findings? One, he was bored! I kept taking him on the same walk all the time. Two, I would be on my phone the entire time. I wasn’t making the walk about our time together. I was treating our walks as if they were a chore. Apparently, Chewy was probably sensing my disinterest in the walk, so he was disinterested also! Today? We took a new path. And.. the only time I was on my phone was to take pictures of his adorable little face. The outcome? I learned I should’ve googled “what am I doing wrong”! As soon as I made these slight changes Chewy was racing down the street. Sometimes, it’s just a little change in direction that can make a huge difference.
